The County Administrator operates under the direction of the Yuba County
Board of Supervisors and implements their decisions. The County
Administrator's Office also provides administrative support to the Board
and implements its directives with regard to Board agendas, meetings,
resolutions, and constituent services.
The County Administrator directs and supervises day-to-day operations of
all County departments and agencies which are under the direct control
of the Board. This includes studying administrative procedures and
organization, and recommending changes to improve the operations of
County government. Preparation and tracking of Yuba County's
budget is handled by the County Administrator's Office, which includes
reviewing budget requests and making recommendations to the Board of
Supervisors.
