Training
The Yuba County One Stop hosts a variety of
vocational education classes designed to enhance the
job skills you may already have and teach new job
skills. Classes offered include:
To further assist you to prepare for a job we have
partnered with local educational institutions and
workforce development agencies to bring you a
variety of education and training opportunities.
The Youth Build program offers General Education
(GED) classroom instruction as well as on-the-job
training in the construction field.
Participants are able to obtain their GED and learn
a trade while they build houses for low-income
families.
The Workforce Investment Act Program (WIA) prepares
adults for participation in the labor force by
providing vocational training, job placement, and
other services that will increase employment
opportunities and decrease dependency.
We can help you fulfill all of your education and
training needs such as finishing high school or
obtaining a G.E.D., certificate programs, college
classes, and vocational training. These and

County One Stop or through our One Stop partners:
