The Yuba County
Public Works Department has the discretionary authority to
issue special permits for the movement of vehicles/loads
exceeding statutory limitations on the size, weight, and
loading of vehicles contained in Division 15 of the
California Vehicle Code. Requests for such special permits
requires the completion of an application for a
Transportation Permit.
The
Yuba County Public Works Department is responsible
for the administration of the Transportation Permit program
through the uniform issuance of Transportation Permits.
Permit Fees:
$16 for a Single Trip Permit good for a 5
consecutive day window, including weekends.
$66 for a House Moving Permit good for a 5
consecutive day window, including weekends.
$90 for a Blanket Permit good for one
year.
* We do not issue Blanket
Permits for Mobile Homes.
