The East Linda Reinvestment Plan is made possible through an Environmental Justice Planning Grant from Caltrans. The plan will include most of East Linda looking for opportunities to support better driving, walking, biking and transit conditions while adding attractiveness to the streetscape, land use changes to add new economic vitality to the area’s businesses and neighborhoods, and enhance the quality of life for surrounding neighborhoods. When completed, the plan will make recommendations for transportation and land use policies, as well as design guidelines for future development. These recommendations will be used in the County’s update of its zoning and development ordinance following the completion of the General Plan Update.
