Citations Process pursuant to YCOC 7.36.820
California law authorizes violations of penal ordinances to be either
misdemeanors or infractions.
An infraction carries a graduated fine (commencing at $100.00) based upon
the number of convictions, as the sole penalty.
A misdemeanor may potentially result in a maximum fine of $1,000.00
and/or six months in County Jail.
In addition to the penalty, the defendant, will be responsible for
administrative fees.
